As of recent, Optimus Ride has made themselves a partnership along with Polaris to design some custom GEM vehicles. Through this agreement, some of Polaris’ GEM electrice Low-Speed Vehicles, otherwise known as LSVs are getting re-engineered in order to integrate some autonomous software and hardware directly from the factory.
Is an autonomous electric mobility service provider. Their big help, is to develop algorithms, software, and system integration. This is all to benefit EV solutions at the drop of a hat. This partnership, as it is, happens to continue on a past investment that Polaris was able to make for Optimus Ride.
Now, Polaris happens to be a global leader charging the way through powersports. This is such because of vehicles like the RAZ-R, the slignshot and also Indian Motorcycles. There is also snowmobiles, pontoon boats and even the Polaris Commercial division.
The Optimus Ride is shown to have a full-stack of autonomy embedded in the vehicle technology. This is to say that it will be combined with Polaris and their resources as well as their expertise within scalable production. This may benefit both companies as they have their state-of-the-art autonomy do the trick for all EVs to come. The CEO of Optimus Ride, Sean Harrington, has mentioned once before that by expanding their partnership with Polaris, it very well may accelerate a pursuit to transform the whole art of personal mobility, thanks to the ability to deliver on-demand autonomy through transportation services to all sorts of communities throughout the country. This is to say that they are the ideal partner to occupy the LSV space.
And that’s a good thing. A very great thing to happen here. Who else could possibly help better than Optimus Ride? It’s a great service they’re doing. We wouldn’t be surprised if there were more actions like this to come.
